amfori launches solution to facilitate ESG due diligence and reporting

Brussels, Tuesday 19 November 2024 – amfori is expanding its offering of ESG solutions by releasing amfori SustainaPass, a product that guides companies in their sustainability due diligence journey, from materiality assessment to reporting.

In order to facilitate ESG due diligence and reporting, amfori is launching a new product that guides companies in key steps of their sustainability journey. amfori SustainaPass consists of three interconnected and user-friendly modules that help users identify their material ESG topics (double materiality), manage their risks and impacts and conduct their reporting exercise. A fourth module will be released in 2025 to support stakeholder engagement.

In addition to the guided modular approach, amfori SustainaPass enhances our members’ ESG due diligence journey by leveraging their supply chain data. Thanks to the synchronisation with amfori BSCI and amfori BEPI, the product provides actionable insights to support companies in their risk and impact assessment. To enrich this exercise, amfori SustainaPass also captures data from the amfori ESG Risk Compass, which gives an estimation of risks at country level for various ESG indicators based on amfori aggregated data and external research data.

Growing sustainability challenges

Now more than ever, governments around the globe are putting more pressure on companies to adopt responsible business practices and improve the ESG performance of their value chains. With the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) and Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), the European Union is setting the standard for sustainability due diligence and reporting. Many businesses operating in the EU are therefore required to adapt to these new regulations to improve their practices and transparency.
