How to enhance risk and impact assessments with your amfori data
With the latest upgrade to amfori SustainaPass, all our members can now access the Risk & Impact Management Module directly after a quick selection of their material topics, without needing to complete the Materiality Module first.
The Risk & Impact Management Module displays a holistic and structured view of your supply chain data, covering insights from amfori BSCI and amfori BEPI audits, amfori ESG Risk Compass, Environmental Risk Assessments, Zero Tolerance alerts, Continuous Improvement, and amfori Insights. This enables you to:
- Identify risks and impacts with confidence.
- Prioritise mitigation efforts based on your highest risks and impacts to focus on what matters most.
- Define targeted actions and track progress.
Access amfori SustainaPass now to start identifying potential vulnerabilities in your supply chain.

Adopt a more tailored approach to risk and impact assessment
The Risk & Impact Management Module has recently been upgraded to better align risk and impact assessments with companies’ needs. These updates also simplify the process for managing large supply chains. One key enhancement is the possibility to define a topic as both a risk and an impact, allowing for a double assessment.

Depending on the topic (e.g., biodiversity), you can choose to assess your risks and impacts at three different levels: across the entire supply chain, at the country level, or at the site level. An assessment at the supply chain level will automatically cascade down and define the level of risk and/or impact at the country and site levels, but not the other way around.
This means that you can assess a topic for the entire supply chain and the result will automatically apply to all mapped countries and sites. You can then define a different level of risk and/or impact for specific countries or sites. However, if you assess a risk at the site level, it will not affect the assessment results for the country or the rest of the supply chain.

Track your mitigation efforts effectively
After assessing your risks and impacts, you can prioritise mitigation and remediation efforts and develop a targeted action plan. In the management section, you can define actions, update the status, indicate the stakeholders involved, and set deadlines.
You can easily switch between the assessment and management sections for a smooth navigation through the module. And as with your assessments, actions defined at the supply chain level will cascade down to country and site levels. But not vice versa.
