The amfori Annual Report 2023 is now available

amfori is pleased to release its 2023 Annual Report

Environment: In early 2023, the migration of amfori BEPI to the amfori Sustainability Platform was successfully completed. A major milestone for amfori members and their business partners, allowing their social and environmental activities to be managed on a single platform. But equally, an opportunity for us to review and enhance the amfori BEPI experience.

Social: Celebrating the 20th anniversary of amfori BSCI went hand in hand with revising the System Manual based on the updated amfori BSCI Code of Conduct. Now amfori BSCI is all set for success for the years to come as the tool to improve working conditions and increase resilience across supply chains.

Governance: On the governance side too, our efforts continued with the expansion of amfori Speak for Change. Following the programme’s success in Vietnam, this supply chain grievance mechanism is now also active in Türkiye, Bangladesh and parts of India.

Due Diligence: The 2023 adoption of the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), with the necessary elements for business to conduct risk-based due diligence and creating a level playing field, clearly demonstrated the impact of our enduring national and European engagement with key stakeholders and policymakers. I was particularly impressed how politicians, business and civil society jointly stood up and pushed for the CSDDD to become a reality
