amfori at the UN Forum on Business and Human Rights 2025
Dates: 24–26 November 2025
Location: Geneva, Switzerland
Theme: Business and Human Rights Due Diligence in Practice
For several years in a row, amfori has been an active participant in the UN Forum on Business and Human Rights, the world’s leading platform for dialogue and cooperation on responsible business conduct. Each year, we engage with global leaders, policymakers, and civil society to exchange insights on how businesses can implement human rights due diligence (HRDD) and contribute to more sustainable global value chains.
In 2025, amfori delegation will once again take an active role across sessions, dialogues, and networking opportunities – reaffirming amfori’s commitment to advancing responsible trade and human rights in business.

About the session
Businesses and investors increasingly operate in complex environments characterized by overlapping regulatory frameworks, shifting geopolitical priorities, and intense economic competition. Conflict-affected and high-risk areas (CAHRAs) are growing in number and impact, amplifying the potential for harm. With the UN Guiding Principles (UNGPs) being progressively integrated into national and regional regulations, companies face heightened scrutiny to demonstrate robust and effective human rights due diligence (HRDD) mechanisms that respect, protect, and remedy human rights. This session offers a platform for diverse stakeholders to exchange ideas, share best practices, and explore practical tools for navigating these challenging contexts.A collaborative discussion on how businesses can apply heightened HRDD in complex operating contexts.
Speaker: Kathy Roussel, Head of Advocacy and Engagement, amfori
