Our local presence in Türkiye offers members and their suppliers practical guidance and regular opportunities to engage through meetings and workshops. These sessions allow members to share experiences and explore ways to strengthen sustainability across their supply chains.

The local network also facilitates engagement with local stakeholders and provides context-specific advice tailored to national challenges and priorities.

Türkiye ranks as the 19th largest economy globally and 7th in Europe, with major exports in automotive, textiles, machinery, electronics, and defence.

On sustainability, Türkiye ratified the Paris Agreement and targets net zero by 2053. Nearly 50% of electricity now comes from renewable sources like wind, solar, and hydro. The EU Green Deal is driving industrial transformation to cut emissions.

Local legislation is evolving to align with international trade and sustainability standards, with reforms in environment, labour, digitalisation, and finance.
