New amfori Advocacy Brochure: Amplifying your Voice
As the leading business organisation for open and sustainable trade, amfori recently revamped its public affairs services.
Providing a breadth of coverage of policy developments, our updates now include not just trade issues but also social and environmental sustainability and stakeholder activities. We have also widened our scope of our monitoring services to incorporate international issues concerning notably China, India, Bangladesh, and the US.
The team’s recent achievements and activities include:
- Promoting EU-China Cooperation on Trade and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): In cooperation with the College of Europe and the Chinese Chamber of International Commerce, amfori hosted a conference in Brussels.
- Calling on Cambodian Government to Safeguard Human Rights: amfori has joined five other organisations in signing a letter urging the Cambodian government to take immediate action to promote human and labour rights.
- Urging for a Prompt Finalisation of the EU-Vietnam Trade Deal: amfori, along with another nine associations representing businesses in Europe and Vietnam, in a joint statement called on the EU to proceed quickly in ratifying and implementing the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement.
