amfori sustainability data now discoverable through Open Supply Hub Spotlight
Struggling with fragmented supply chain data across multiple systems?
amfori BSCI and amfori BEPI verified sustainability information is now made discoverable through Open Supply Hub (OS Hub), linking credible data directly to production location profiles, offering a practical alternative to fragmented datasets and complex global supply chains.
Information about factories, farms and other production locations is often spread across multiple systems, leading to duplication, inconsistencies and gaps in visibility. Without a shared reference point, organisations risk relying on incomplete data, making it harder to manage risks, meet due diligence expectations and communicate transparently with stakeholders.
A collaboration designed for credible data
Through its evolving collaboration with OS Hub, amfori contributes to a more connected and transparent supply chain data ecosystem. By making verified sustainability information easier to discover at the production level, businesses benefit from:
- Clearer visibility of what data exists for a given facility
- Reduced duplication and inconsistencies across systems. The OS ID ensures that all parties recognise the same site
- Easier discovery of relevant environmental and social information
- Stronger foundations for risk‑based due diligence and sourcing decisions
A new phase in our collaboration with OS Hub
Open Supply Hub has recently expanded its data offering through OS Hub Spotlight: a new suite of integration partnerships with 10 founding leading data providers. As part of this development, amfori will make its data discoverable through OS Hub’s platform.
Through this integration, OS Hub highlights the availability of key data points across relevant production location profiles. This enables users to see where credible sustainability information exists for a facility, without duplicating or replacing the original datasets.
These integrations make environmental, social and assessment‑related data easier to discover through an open and collaborative platform, giving users a more comprehensive view of production locations worldwide. By contributing verified data, amfori supports ecosystem‑wide collaboration and interoperability, helping strengthen transparency across industries.
Building on our existing collaboration with ZDHC
This new phase builds on amfori’s established collaboration with OS Hub through the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) Foundation. ZDHC supports sustainable chemical management across the textile, leather and footwear industries and relies on OS Hub’s unique identifiers to consistently recognise production facilities.
Through amfori’s Chemical Management in Fashion (CMF) module, OS IDs are used to connect with the ZDHC Gateway, ensuring that chemical management data is accurately linked to the correct facilities. This shared identification approach reduces mismatches across systems and strengthens the reliability of sustainability data used by all partners involved.
What is a Open Supply Hub?
Open Supply Hub is a global open‑data platform that maps production locations and connects them with multiple datasets. Each production site is assigned a unique 15‑digit Open Supply ID (OS ID), enabling consistent identification of facilities across systems. To date, Open Supply Hub has mapped millions of production locations worldwide, working with a broad range of stakeholders including suppliers, companies, service providers and civil society organisations. By keeping supply chain data open, accessible and standardised, Open Supply Hub supports greater transparency, collaboration and accountability across global supply chains.
